**Our Inspiration: Embracing the Power of Fiction**
One of my favorite fictional characters is Katniss Everdeen. She taught me that it's okay not to be a social butterfly, and that you don't need everyone to like you to make a significant impact. Katniss showed me that one person can make a huge difference in the world by staying true to themselves and being brave. This powerful message has been a guiding light in the creation of "Fiction to Fab," where we celebrate the strength, courage, and uniqueness found in fictional worlds.
**Our Focus: A Bookish Beginning**
As we launch "Fiction to Fab," we are diving headfirst into the wonderful world of books. Our initial product range will focus on the bookish side of fiction, especially genres like fantasy, romance, dark romance (yes, it can get a bit spicy), thriller, and horror. These genres have a special place in our hearts, and we can't wait to share our unique designs inspired by these captivating stories.
**Behind the Scenes: Meet Our Special Collab Designer**
Our designer is an absolute sweetie and a dear friend. His journey to creativity is both inspiring and heartfelt. When I asked him what sparks his creativity, he shared this touching insight:
"My creativity is a substitute for handicrafts, a process where the journey itself is the focus. For over 30 years, all my paintings ended up in the trash, except for the few I gave away. At night, when I'm in pain (I'm a chronic pain patient), I can take my mind off things and have something to focus on that is more satisfying than diving into World of Warcraft, Diablo, FFXIV, or other games. It is a balance, an escape from my life into a world of beauty or emotions that I try to open up for myself through painting."
His dedication and passion shine through in every design, and we are incredibly lucky to have him on our team. He’s also got a wonderfully quirky side that keeps things interesting. I remember a funny anecdote where I ordered a picture with an Egyptian restaurant setting and got a Greek beach café instead. That's artists for you—scatterbrained and quirky, but oh so talented!
